Back to Nature


Vane Farm will be visiting in the morning and taking us on a beastie and birds walk.

Weather permitting we will picnic in the park and collect items for creating a country side mural in the afternoon.


It’s a Knock Out

meets Highland Games


We will be building obstacle courses and creating crazy races for our very own ‘ It’s a KNOCK OUT!’

Combine ‘chuck the welly’ and’ toss the caber’ – it’s a very different Highland Games!


Fun with Wood


Jenny Crick from the Forestry Commission will be visiting to take us on a woodland walk. 10-12am

Throughout the day we will be modeling and painting a variety of items made from wood.





WEEK 2

Fun with Felt


Your very own COOS Club rucksack is waiting for you to decorate with felt, and fabric crayons. They could become all the rage!!


Story telling with puppets


Everyone loves a good story”

Sylvia Troon has many tales to tell, have you heard the one about the giant of the Lomond Hills?

As a puppeteer Sylvia’s stories are full of life. 9.30am -12am

We will also be making our own puppets – bring along an old stretchy sock and scraps of material


Fun with Paper


Papier Mache creations – make any thing you can from papier mache.

STICKY, MESSY FUN.

Bring along some old newspapers for this one and go home with what ever your imagination takes you to.




WEEK 3


4th -6th August



Fun with Clay

We have an artist coming for a two hour workshop to help us do some ceramic painting (10-12am).

Throughout the day there will be clay modeling and painting to keep us busy with our newly acquired skills


Wacky Wednesday


Silly games all day – how many beans can you eat with a cocktail stick?

Eat jelly with a straw and play the infamous chocolate game – it’s a race to dress up and eat chocolate with a knife and fork before the next 6 on the dice is thrown!!

All the Fun of the Circus


This promises to be a special day !

The Edinburgh Performers are coming to do three one hourly work shops (9.30-1.30 with breaks)

You’ll learn how to juggle, balance, tightrope walk and even be a clown.
